Aseem Periera

 

Aseem Pereira was born in Brazil, 1960. Originally employed as a weaver, Aseem now translates his traditional skills into producing laborious hand-woven glass hangings, each containing up to 18,000 pieces of recycled hand-cut and drilled bottle glass.

He has lived and worked in Australia for 14 years and has a Bachelor of Visual Arts with First Class honours from the Sydney College of the Arts.
