Linda Dry Parker

Linda thinks of herself as an abstract colourist with a passion for the figure. She says colour is her form of abstract expression, while the figure connects her to reality. She begins her works by creating layers of colour, then introduces the female form - sometimes as a hint rather than an image, resulting in an intriguing mix of femininity and intimacy.

Linda completed her art degree at Newcastle University then studied post-graduate print making at Brighton College of Art. Her works are held in collections around the world.
