Deborah Sutton was born in Sydney in 1963, and, after working in a number of industries and jobs, studied ceramics at TAFE, nurturing the exceptional talent she now exhibits. She has been exhibiting her works since 2001.

She draws on themes of environment, human interaction and emotion for her creative expression, working from personal experiences and memories which have moved her in some way. She sees symbiosis in all things, and likes to hybridise different patterns to express the yin and yang of all things.

Her works display a diversity of texture, shape and colour which work together to create truly unique pieces.
